General Description:
We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in platform instruction and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO). The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and hands-on experience in Enterprise Defense, Threat Hunting, and/or Incident Response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive training on defensive cyberspace strategies and tactics.
- Update course materials to reflect the latest threats and defense mechanisms.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions in a lab environment to simulate real-world scenarios.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
- Proficient in identifying and analyzing Indicators of Compromise, conducting Network Traffic Analysis, and executing Host Surveys and Malware Triage.
- Skilled in Network Mapping using various operating system tools.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, including DNS, and comprehensive knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proficient in network scanning and analysis tools including NMAP, Zenmap, and Wireshark; experienced with penetration testing frameworks such as Metasploit and Burp Suite; familiar with Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems like SNORT and TCPDump; and familiar in configuring network packet filtering and firewall settings using iptables.
Preferred Certifications:
- Security+ (Sec+)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Additional defensive-focused training and certifications are highly advantageous.
Salary Range: $140,000 – $180,000 (annually)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics)
Location: St. Charles, Missouri – On-site
General Description:
We are seeking an experienced Product Security Engineer to join our team in delivering cyber-resilient solutions for national security clients. Our engineers are deeply embedded in mission-critical DoD projects, applying secure-by-design principles across hardware, software, and full system lifecycles. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing cybersecurity integration within next-generation defense platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and refine customer and regulatory cybersecurity requirements into actionable system designs
- Collaborate directly with program teams and customers to embed security from concept through sustainment
- Support secure system architecture and design development, validation, and verification activities
- Conduct threat modeling, attack surface evaluations, and security risk assessments
- Evaluate system-level security controls and document implementation details throughout the development lifecycle
- Guide cybersecurity integration efforts and validate effectiveness through evidence-based testing and reporting
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including system security plans, security control matrices, and diagrams
- Support investigations and incident response efforts in collaboration with ISSOs and system admins
- Participate in security authorization activities and generation of accreditation artifacts
Preferred Qualifications
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III or IASAE Level II certification (e.g., CASP+ CE, CISSP, CSSLP)
- Experience in aircraft, weapon system, or space system cybersecurity
- Familiarity with Anti-Tamper (AT) controls and software assurance concepts
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, or similar frameworks
- Ability to contribute to development of technical security documentation such as network/system diagrams, SOPs, and baseline control plans
- Experience interfacing with customer security teams and presenting technical briefings
- Familiarity with tools like DOORS, GitLab, and Jira for engineering collaboration and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related systems security work
- Demonstrated experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure system design
- Proven ability to work in classified environments and support lab-based security evaluations
- Experience in evaluating customer security requirements and translating them into engineering deliverables
- Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
Additional Information
- Travel may be required up to 25% for customer meetings and technical reviews
- This is a full-time onsite position based in St. Charles, MO
- Must be able to obtain and maintain program-specific clearances if required
Salary Range: $119,850 – $162,150 (annually)
